I just started a blog about 2 weeks ago and have 18 posts. I'm thinking I'm going to hold off on promoting my blog (by forums, yahoo answers, articles, mylot, commenting on other blogs) till I have about 50 posts. Does this sound like a good plan? When I get visitors to my site I want them to think it's a nice quality blog with a lot of info. So is this a good plan? Should I wait till I have about 50 posts? (my blog is www.wellness-exercise.blogspot.com)

i think the best way to promote a site is by means of a referral contest.

If your posts have solid content, 18 posts should be enough to draw attention. Perhaps you should consider adding post and drawing traffic concurrently, that way things might move a lot faster.
