I got a new computer!

I got my new computer today. I only replaced the harddrive, as the monitor and keyboard still work just fine, as far as I can see. It's so much faster and better behaved then my old one, I can barely believe it. Did other people have the same reaction; not realizing how slow their computers were until they finally got new ones? I'm so shocked and happy.

how did you backup the files on your old hard drive? i received a new one and do not know how to do this. it makes me angry that i have a new one (a present from my daughter) and i cannot even use it ! i know that you have to download programs again, but there are things i can download and save. i hope you can help me ! if you'd like to message me, this would be perfect, too.

I am glad that you are happy with your new purchase. I was shocked when I had bought the one I am on now.

You made the right decision. It gets so frustrating when the computer slows down, and when you have to get things done quickly.

That's awesome cripfemme!! I know exactly how it feels to get a new computer!! Good for you!! Now a hint of advice, if it starts to act up on you, it might be wise for you to go back in time to restore your settings. This is how you do it. Start button, accessories, system restore, and the rest is pretty much self explanatory. Good luck!!
