Is your closest friend from school or college or work place?

Who is your closest friend? When did you start being friends? How long has this relation lasted?
I have a feeling and my personal experience shows that the longest friendship relation has been the best. Might be it is because it started at the school level when we had no egos. While most are from schools, i have got very good friends from my post graduation as well. This shows that good people whenever they may come by fall into good lasting relations. So i would go either way to vote in this discussion.

i have somefriends.i dont have a good and nice lunch either,but i dont think i am sad or poor.yes,you can choose another system and you feel it better,the society is taking the responsibility for the poor man and the government should give us what we need .and the job should be solved better......

I have had friends sincei was born, some of whom have come along with me through my life. when i am aline and feel so lonely, i have a friend who can always comfort me by saying that he is my clesest friend, when i am proud and a friend dares to stand out to warn me that i should keep modest,heis my closest friend...Although i always want to keep all of them in my heart, they are not actually always in my heart. they have their own friendsand their own life.Winston Churchill once said that there's no perpetual friend,nor perpetual enemy,only perpetual interst.I guess he;s right in some way.

closest is still my sisters though we already live in different places.
My twin daughters are now my closest buddies. They turned 8 last aug 12.
My officemates are also considered as close friends since I see them everyday.
