Will you take things from the garbage?

Do you go garbage picking? or do you find it weird?
What have you gotten? (if you do, do it)
I go garbage picking! lol not actually "picking" in the garbage but if there is something sitting by it that looks nice and i want it, i will take it 
and today I got a new printer from the garbage! 
My mom came in and had this little kids bike that looked pretty new and she told me that theres a printer out by the dumpster in a box and looks brand new...
i walked out to the dumpster and looked at it and it did look brand new.
The bubble wrap is still in the box! but I didn't wanna get my hopes up just yet... I brought it inside and plugged it in and it WORKS!
It's a "HP DeskJet 952C" I think its around $150-200 (depending on where you live and shop) but I got it freeeee! lol
I love finding things in the garbage like this. I think its awesome
I already have a printer but this one can print pictures!
I think i'm gonna give my dad my old printer and take the one i found in the garbage lol

Of course I do, who wouldn't?! That's great that you got a new printer!! Of course, I'd probably sell it since I already have one, but free is the best price.

heck i would. especially if it was a printer. i need one very badly and just cant afford it. I've found a number of good books there. i cant stand to see books go into the garbage. once i found a picture sitting right by the trash dumpster. its beautiful. i've had it on my wall for years. i dont go just looking, just run across stuff at times.

sameroad....we've had people take things from our garbage on the curb. but i couldn't do it. i'm too squeamish wondering about germs and such. i suppose you could find something good, but i just couldn't do it.
