What is the worst vice that you tried to quit but still can't?

What's your worst vice? My uncle smokes too many cigarette packs everyday. Maybe a chain smoker. I want him to quit because he is my uncle and we care for him. Especially when I saw the result of it. I saw burnt lungs in my anatomy book and it got us scared and disgusted by it. He can't stop smoking and he can't quit it. Have you tried measures to quit your worst vice? Do you listen to people's advice and visit the doctor or you're too stubborn to think of others' opinions of what's really good for you and keep doing your vices?
