Mendis is balling great. did sharukh and ganguly use mendis in IPL fully. I didnt think so. if they use mendis they have one IPL 2007.

This is an interesting point. Yes after the success of Mendis in the rescent games everyone would think about it. I think yes they should have used Mendis to full extent, but we cannot blame them entirely as who know Mendis would perform so well later.

sanath jayasuriya pointed earlier that mendis balling was difficulty to pick. sanath jayasuriya understand this thru their net practice. we have an idea in nets whether a bowler or batsmen do well in nets so that we can choose for the 11 member squad. also in march april mendis had ODI debut in westindies and he performed well...

A fellow country man always praise his mate. But I think Mendis could not have been hand in 20 20 cricket as spinner were belted all round the field in IPL tournament.
