PDA 2: Is Laarni deserving for the Star Scholar of the Week?

I was watching gala night yesterday night and the counterpointing showcases of the scholars were awesome. But when the time when the star scholar will be announced, everybody was disappointed in my home. It was Laarni who got it. She was just angry to Miguel last friday just because she was told not to rehearse indoors because she's too loud. I personally don't like her.

You're right about her deserving the star scholar title last night. Bugoy was more deserving, or even Poy. While attitude may not necessarily be graded, it still reflects on the person and in the end, this might be Laarni's undoing. She seems to forget that humility plays a big part in success, even with enormous talent such as hers. That said, I must take my hat off to all the scholars because their exercise/performance last Saturday was very difficult yet they came out of it triumphantly. Definitely better than the Pinoy Idol finals...

Sorry but I don't like Laarni. I realized that without talent is nothing without a good attitude and personality. I also watched the gala last night and I am praying for Bugoy. He more deserved to be the star scholar, because the only problem is about his diction. All of the audience are shouting for Bugoy but when Laarni was called I think everyone has been shocked and that includes me.

True, true. I think I have something learned out here: Good personality and skyrocketing fame don't really mix well.

Well to be fair, attitude wise she really has some problem, but when it comes to voice quality she is unfortunately a gifted person in there. That is why their mentor said that attitude does not count in the way each scholar is evaluated in the academy. I think attitude can be developed in time as her voice is.

Hi there hacker4ever! I was able to watch the gala night and I must say that they all did a great performance. However, I am not in favor of who was announced as the star scholar of the week. Of course, we cannot really do anything about that. Perhaps the least we could do is not to support her in case she becomes part of the last four scholars who will vie for the position of being the Grand Star Dreamer.

I really don't like Laarni. No offense to those who likes her. I mean yeah, she has a good voice, but for whatever reason, she bores me just like Liezel and other 'biriteras' in PDA. Attitude-wise, a big NO. When the Star Scholar was called, I was also disappointed. I thought Poy or Bugoy should've bagged the title. But oh well, that's how it is. I'm just wishing that for next week there would be a different Star Scholar other than those people who have already bagged the title. xD Good day!

i actually like. She has talent. But sometimes she's really too loud. But she is okay for me. :) She deserves the Star Scholar of the week title.
