Do you like beaches, if so what type. Have you been swimming in the water or done some snorkeling? Do you like walking? Have you strolled around any historical sights or along a pretty route? What kinds of activities do you like doing when you are on vacation?

When I was in Rhodes I liked nothing better than to explore my surrounding by foot, you can see so much when you are walking, I walked all around Rhodes new and old town and admired the views and touristy places, there is so much to see and do in Rhodes you have to have your camera with you at all times. I do the historic sites and there are plenty there. I also love doing the coach tours as well that way you are given a guided tour and find out about the local history and taken to places you wouldn't know to visit if you were travelling alone. That is the best way of finding out about a new place. I am not keen on swimming in the ocean on my own because of the currents and not knowing how safe it is and what animals are in the water LOL! Like sharks and jellyfish etc. I spend a lot of time in the hotel's swimming pool if it's nice and warm. So I usually alternate a day exploring then a day of relaxation on the beach or by the poolside.

Yes, if you go exploring by foot you see a lot more than if you are in a vehicle. The old town must have been fascinating. I love to take lots of photos. Greece has such a rich history and I loved going to Athens when I was 14 years old. A coach tour can be interesting and it can cover more distance than I can walk. I adore swimming in the ocean if it is warm and I am happy to see sting rays and small sharks. Some jellyfish do sting but I think that the Mediterranean Sea is quite safe. I like the way you spend a day exploring then a day relaxing. Right now it is raining here and I wish that I was somewhere sunny.

It depends on where I am and what type of holiday I am on but if on a beach type holiday I like a secluded beach thta isn't overcrowded but at the same time like to do a lot in the watre like hobbie cats or kayaking. I like visiting cities too and going around shops like in Tunis I loved the souk with it's narrow streets and lots of interesting items for sale!

one of the monsters of the deep - the kids have travelled with us around the world, yet a trip to the deep in Hull really excited them. They got a great thrill out of coming face to face with this guy
blessed be
I love exploring historical monuments. Particularly i love Luxor in Egypt or the area around it. However, this summer break I have been exploring in England and found a great exhibition for the kids to enjoy, called the deep in Hull. This basically is made up of a number of large aquaria full of fish from all over the world in their correct environment. The kids loved it, particularly coming face to face with sting rays (they looked to be smiling) and huge sharks (they didnt). What a wonderful place it was for the kids to spend an afternoon blessed be
