as inexpensive organization tools. Or maybe storage containers? I have found this helpful and a money saver. Who else has done this? Hey I can even add this to the helping go green list!

Reduce, reuse, recycle. Clearly, giving the shoebox a second use is in keeping with this basic mantra.

You can make a really cool Spongebob Squarepants out of an old shoe box. You just need some construction paper, glue or tape, and some markers.

I love using my husbands shoe and boot boxes, they are great thing to have. I have also added contact paper to them to pretty them up and make them sturdier. We put all sorts of things in there and they make great craft boxes, coloring books holder, and it you need it hideaway boxes for closets to keep things nice and neat. You can even make First Aid Kits. They are great for just about everything and fabulas organizers. In a Kids room they are great to hold small toys, loose papers, artwork, crayons, hair assessories, letters, just about everything you can imagine, within reason..and you can make them match the rooms with contact paper and sickers. Kids just love that.

Yes, I do, I save everything.. I use them for storing everything from craft supplies to wrapping Christmas gifts in.. You can always find a good use for shoe boxes, especially the good strong ones, they last forever.. This does make us green, doesn't it.. Good going..

I've done it a few times. That's pretty good way to save money and nature...

Shoe boxes can be great for reuse. I always reuse shoe boxes, because they are quite handy and it is a good "green" thing to do. Actually, I try to reuse most packaging if it is feasible to do so.

I don't actually. I really have nothing to use them for. I'm sure people can come up with plenty of good ideas, but I just really see no need for them. I just put mine in the recycling bin with the other cardboard.

hi ersmom...i used to really be into shoe boxes. i enjoyed as much as the new shoes and even looked forward to them. now if i want a box that size i go for the plastic ones you buy with lids. when i buy shoes i don't take the box, i leave it in the store.
