Why are we so detached??

With everything that is going on in the world, the human race as a whole still fails to recognize the fact that the superficial world we have created around us separates us more and more everyday from what´s really real. So much violence and horrific things in the world, and people are still caught up in the material things. I think we´re the only race in the whole world from the animal kingdom that really doesn´t get it. I pray everyday that our hearts are finally opened as a whole to stop the destruction. We only have one world, mars doesn´t want us! LOL! but seriously, the destruction is only coming back to affect us even worse. The human mind has so much potential, but not when it´s distracted constantly by things that don´t matter. Titles and self glorification. It all has to stop. Mass production of food with hormones, because there´s simply not enough. We need to start cultivating our own food and learn to take care of the earth again. Learn to take care of ourselves from the inside out, not with money and expensive things that don´t feel, see or hear us. The human race needs unification of mind body and soul.
