WOW! They are almost ready

This is a shot of the same apple I started a discussion about like 1 week or 10 days ago. It has really ripened up quickly. Usually they are not ready until Mid October but as early as late September at times. They are really reddening rather quickly for me. I love it though. A lot of the Haralred apples on this tree are getting very red. We have had a lot of sunshine which is a percusser to them ripening so that's one reason I think. Plus I have kept the tree well watered all year even though we have had very little rain this Summer and Spring. Are you seeing the same type weather? Lots of sun and little rain? Do you water your garden(s) often as well? I water my garden areas at least every other day unless we get rain. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!`

Thank you for reposting the picture. Seeing that pretty apple makes me want sliced apple and caramel dip. yummy. I'm sure the apples are real juicy with all the water they ave been getting, or at least that is my way of thinking.

Ok, Ok, I am making my list now, what I would be doing with all those apples. Apple pie, Apple crisp, Apple cobbler, Applesauce,Fried Apples, Baked Apples! Oh lets not forget that we can just enjoy a fresh crisp apple. Peanut butter, honey, and oatmeal mixed together and apple slices dipped in Yummy! What will you be making GB? Your making me hugry!

Apple crisp is all I've made with them. That was last year/ Loved and it and going to make more this fall. I have a bunch of recipes from myLotters as well for pies etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I just had to jump in here even though my apartment means I have no gardens.... I had to come in to ask if you could some sunshine my way!!!! We are getting rain approximately four to five days out of each week!! It has been like this all summer and is getting very annoying!!! ~Heavens~

We have had lots of sunshine and lots of rain this summer. I have not had to water very much at all. It seems like every time I think about watering it rains.

Yes, I'm watering my flowers but not as often as you since the weather has been pretty cool. High 70's and low 80's with temps in the 60's and high 50's at night. We only had one or two short bouts of heat this summer. Weird.

LOL I WISH we are seeing lots of rain and little sun!! You are lucky to have nice weather, it has been cold here for ages, the last two days even colder. I have even debated on having the heating on a couple of times! I reckon that is it for us, we have seen no summer again and now it is slipping into an early autumn. Not fair.
