Tampons or Pads

I use to like tampons because the were more comfordable but recently I found out that they are the casue in bacterial vagnosis. I did no that at first until I started working for a GYN doctor the females that use the perfume ones are more at risk. So I perfer to use pads!

I have to say pads. I never used tampons until recently. My mom never really educated me on the use of tampons, she just said I use pads. Period. I didn't get my period until late, so I just did what she did...she wasn't very influential in that aspect of my life, and I think she felt because she was all alone, I should be too! I tried one when I was 18, and probably didn't use it right. When my daughters wanted me to swim with them I had to use tampons, and I have to disagree with everyone. I don't find them very comfortable. Yes, pads make me feel like I'm wearing a diaper, but a tampon for me is worse. Maybe I am oversensitive...In any case, I wear both sometimes because I am so heavy. I used to be afraid of tampons because of tss.

tampons no question!! as a young teenager i did pads until a girlfriend introducedme to tampons....ahh...never going back to pads!!!

I prefer tampons they are alot more comfortable. However i sometimes find at night they can leak if your on strong. So i think pads are good for while you sleep. The health risks involved are rare. As long as you are clean in that area and change them often and follow the guidlines on the pack it should all be fine

i use tampons. I only use pads after I have a baby!

I wear pad, i have tried tampons.. but to my very unconfortable.. so i stick to what i grew up with.

I wear tampons. I cant stand wearing pads! But, I have an IUD for my form of birth control so I dont have very many periods anymore. I love it lol

I used to use pads when I was younger (12-16), because I was scared that putting in tampons would hurt me. Anyway, after I actually got the guts to try them, there's definitely no way I'm going back. Wearing a tampon feels like you're wearing nothing at all, while pads bunch and move around, and are generally rather uncomfortable as the day goes by. The health risks involved in tampons is extremely slim, and I definitely prefer them as well in terms of comfort and discretion.

i use tampons.when i wear pads it makes me feel nasty.atleast when u are wearing a tampon you cant feel the blood flowing out.sorry to be so descriptive lol

I prefer tampons. I usually use pads only when sleeping. I really don't like using them at all because I feel like I am going to leak out at any minute and I don't like feeling like I am wearing a diaper.

I use pads. I know I am in the minority. Tampons just freak me out, I am never comfortable with them in, more psycologically than physically. I don't know why. I just feel more confident in pads.

I was going to start a discussion on this, but was too embarrassed. LOL! More power to ya! I use both for the first couple days. I think that's enough said. LOL!
