India is the source of Kama Sutra. Often times this is misinterpreted?

Kama Sutra was originally written by an Indian writer -Vatsavayana. The original book talks about proper grooming, courting and wooing of a girl and not on positions per se. This book educates you on the proper marriage methods not only on the physical aspect but the moral and spiritual aspect as well. The English translations however, were much more with graphic, explicit drawings of couples in various positions, in which many - could only be performed by a gymnast. This is coupled with the original text and content of the book and therefore coming up with a book that is exciting and educational to read.
