I and my family relations are very good, even if I have a work out. like you and I and relatively close to his mother, father and little communication, but I will fight every week, or a telephone back.

I'm 32 and have a family of my own. When my parents are in India (in differnt states, though), I talk to them often....but when they are in Africa (where my dad works), I talk to them once a week. As far as my kids go, I regularly talk to them and know everything that happens in their lives. I have an excellent rapport with my older son. My younger one isn't really talking yet and I'm not sure what kind of bonding I will have with him as he grows. But communication lines are always open with my little ones and me.

I usually go out with my mum once a week, and we talk on the phone usually once or twice during the week. Sometimes I will also meet up with her and my sister for a lunch during the week and we will have a bit of a chat. I used to talk to my dad a bit, and sometimes went into his work to help him with his business. But, being a father I think he was a bit guarded in talking with his family - even though we would see each other a bit. Now unfortunately my father has alzheimers and he can't talk to us. We can sit with him and talk to him but we can never have a proper conversation. So, since you have bought this topic up, please try hard and talk with your parents while they are still there and their mind is sound, because it is so sad when you don't have this chance anymore and you have missed out on these conversations.
