Do you often clean ice in the refrigerator?

HI lixiaos, since I had replaced the old fridge with the currently one end of last year I don’t have to clean the ice in the fridge anymore, as the ice on the walls of the freezer compartment will defrost automatically regularly. There are only ice cubes and ice cream. You could hardly see any meat or fish kept there. The wet market is quite near to my house so I buy only meat and shrimp which I could finish for the day only. There would be some fish in it once in a while for sometimes I would buy excessive fish. The freezer is quite clean and without the nasty smell left by the meat, so I don’t clean it often. posting and have a nice day.

Yes I have to clean ice because my refrigerator is not frozefree as relundad have. I't a bit annoying, every 3-4 days. My wife think its okay because she when she defroze the ice she can clean food leftover hidden somewhere inside refrigerator.

No way! That is way antiquated...I think they have been making Frost Free refrigerators for many moons now! I know that that they have been around all of my adult life as I have only owned Frost Free and I am 42.

hi lixiaos...yes i have to because i use a small refridgerator and it can build up very thick in the freezer part. i don't do it on a schedule, i just wait till it's getting thick. then i turn it off and put thick towels in to absorb the melting ice. it keeps things cool with the door shut while melting. then when it nice and clear i turn it back on and it is so nice to have it down to the metal again.
