Do you turn off the lights before you to sleep?

I can't sleep when all the lights are out at night. I can't breathe without seeing any lights. Maybe because I'm afraid of the dark. Even when I already am asleep and the electricity goes out, I find myself crying "mom or dad". I find myself waking up because I can't breathe. How about you? Do you sleep with the light out?

That is so surprising. I can't sleep when the lights are not put off. My thought for global warming keeps me awake if I do not switch off my lights. Even the fan has to be regulated so that it does not consume too much of power, but just sufficiently keeps me cool. Blessings!

May be there are some people like that. May be there are some people like me. But if we don't have problem normally it's good to switch off lights when we sleep. Blessings!

saving the world eh? I wish I could do that too. It's just that I really can't sleep without any lights reaching my vision..

I normally sleep without the lights on, but I do leave the small light over the kitchen sink on at night. It gives off enough light should I go downstairs for a drink in the middle of the night. Other than that one light, I turn off all the rest of the lights.

No, it doesn't show into my bedroom. It shines just enough light to safely go up or down the stairs in the middle of the night. When in our bedroom, you can't even tell it's on.

As for me, yeah, I always turn the lights off when I sleep. It's really hard to sleep when the lights are on however, if I'm really really tired or haven't had any sleep for hours, I could sleep almost anywhere. I agree, having blackouts is such a pain that aside from not being able to anything else but wait, it's really hot most of the time.

Yes definitely, I sleep with lights off. If the lights are on, I couldn't sleep at all. You know sleeping with lights on might trigger cancer through melatonin. Well, I would say that if it's your habit then doesn't matter at all. Sleeping better can be done with the lights off. Dim or dark as much as possible is the best way to get a good night's sleep. So if you are sleeping with lights on, then try to sleep without lights, and if you are sleeping with lights off try to completely darken. Thanks.

Yeah I do. I can't sleep with lights on but when I was a child, it was the other way around. I can't sleep when lights are out because I'm scared in the dark and I imagine ghosts will come out from the ceiling. Oh My Gosh! That was a scare. But now I'm brave. I can sleep in the dark alone
