As we speak I am watching the woman's marathon in the Olympics. Live from Beijing where it is later Sunday morning than it is here. It's 1AM East coast time as I am dictating this. They already have people in the Bird's Nest waiting for the runner's to arrive. Can you imagine buying a ticket to an event where you only see one lap around the track? I hope these tickets were the cheapest for any event of the Olympics as the audience gets jipped. Fortunately they have entertainment for them also. Dancers and children's choirs, plus you can watch the race on a big video screen so you know what is going on. What do you think? Would you pay for such a ticket? I don't know if I would.

I probably would not pay for tickets either, i am sure the atmosphere was great.
It was a great idea to put on entertainment to keep the crowd entertained, but i would have prefered to be out on the roadside watching it as that is where you get all the drama.
