Everybody need friends, but i need the real ones. A quote texted from me by a friend says that a friend is like a blood, they sustain life yet it is not always visible. But it comes out every time you are wounded. True right?!

Yes.. That's true rikkabren. I also looking for a friend who can be made as a bestfriend. Before this my friends always betray to me. They make me sick. I don't want to have a friend near to my house. One of the reason I join mylot is to look for new friend all over the world. I cannot live without friend. Just like you have mentioned, friends is like blood flowing in our body. Without them I will die..

That's a slightly morbid comparison, but yeah, thinking about it, it IS true. friends may not always be present at all times (because after all, we all live different lives), but TRUE ones will most certainly be there when you get hurt, when you feel that life hasn't been fair and even if you just need someone to be there. not everyone we call friends are real, yes, but sometimes we hit the jackpot and we manage to meet people that we might not only call friends, but soul mates, as well :) welcome to my lot dear sister! looking forward to answering every single one of your discussions! :p

hi rikkabren! i agree with the text message. true friends are really like that. people who has real friends are lucky. they would have good companions for the rest of their lives. but it seems that nowadays, its hard to find real friends. you can't just get them instantly. you have to earn them.

Real friends are really rare dear friend. Every one looks for a friend or a person who is trustworthy and true. But do we really get such person? Are we truthful to ourself first? and how far are we truthful to ourself. I also love to have many friends with whom I can be myself, but I hardly find one such person. Many people just see the external or the physical personality. Is there anyone who really friendships with us without any measure? and what does it need to make such good friends?
