svet turned three months old last august one and we already feed her with small amounts of food. i let her eat 3/4 of a piece of marie (a brand of milky biscuit here in the Philippines) melted in her milk after her daily bath in the morning. i already let her taste chocolate (see picture) and candy. my mom lets her sip a very, very tiny amount of the broth of whatever is on the menu (expect for those in soy sauce). i must say she likes it very much, because she cries when we stop feeding her. lol. how old did you first start feeding your baby? what did you make them eat? :)

I already have three kids and two were now toddlers, but I only start feeding them when they were 6 months old. Their pediatrician told me to do so, he said that early feeding could lead to weak digestive system, He told me that the right age wherein our digestive system is ready for foreign food is 6 months. I also heard that water is not advisable for babies below 6 months. My mother used to argue about this because she said that when we were younger they feed us as early as two months and my clever answer is, see we have so many food allergies and intolerance.

My son was around 4 months when I started feeding him rice cereal and my daughter was around 3 1/2 months old. She started on the same things, but she started eating a lot of different foods fairly quickly.

well, as you know, there are many don'ts in my family so my baby starts eating on the right time where babies should it. he was on his 5th month when he tasted his first solid food. hehe!

I started mine out at around 3 months or so. I dont remember what I gave him though I think it was oatmeal (not that stupid baby food stuff) but then I moved into giving him things that would basically melt in his mouth till he got some teeth then I started giving him some regular cut up foods. He is now 15 months going on 16 months

I started feeding my daughter rice cereal st 9 weeks old. My daughter was hungry a lot with just milk. I tried some fruits and vegetables but she sometimes would get gassy from it so I started with those more at six months. I also introduced the baby yogurt at six months. Now at 8 months she eats a variety of foods. My husband and I let her try things that we are eating like chicken, fish, rice and pasta. She is also big on Cheerios.

With my three kids i started giving them solid foods on their fourth month. My eldest got to taste marie, but my two young kid never knew it.Though i find the same version in here.Among the first food i gave was scrapped apple or banana.........but started a little.I love to see them how they beg for more with the new taste and eventually cry.But boy how their poop starts to smell!

My wife gave my 2 month daughter a banana or papaya, not all but only a few spoon. She said that my daughter is crying a lot because she's hungry. I personally trust my wife to raise my daughter. I didn't argue that day. My daughter now is 1 year and 5 month and healty. By the way I don't know what baby specialist would say, I only give my own experience.
