although i am a work home mom, i still get this monday morning blues (as if i have to GET up early lest i'll be late for work :p) it's a habit i've acquired from years of having a normal office job that requires one to get up each monday (as much as one hates to) and get ready for work. it is a sunday here in our place, and back in the days when i used to go to the office, sunday is the day when i take the opportunity to do whatever the hell i want to do (because saturdays are sometimes workdays too. when i think about getting tied up to a normal job for years, it makes me more grateful i chose to work at home). on sunday nights like this, i usually end up at home (especially when i became a mom), playing with my daughter before she goes to sleep and spending some quality time with the family. we watch something good on tv most of the times, we hardly go out, which is fine by me because i'd rather spend such nights close to my family. i ask you, what do YOU do on sunday nights? do you follow a certain pattern of activities or are you the adventurous type that does something different each week? :)

Oh sundays are the same week in week out, dull and boring! On a school night it is a run of baths and hair washings ready for school, getting all the clothes ready for the morning so I am not in a mad monday morning rush! In the holidays as it is now, it is more or less the same except that I just have to get their everyday clothes out ready to go shopping instead! I get the monday morning blues too, I also suffer with the "I really hate sunday" blues too.

Sunday night is spend at home sometimes with a movie on the DVD player, or a book to read, or surfing in the internet. For now, I'm at the computer Mylotting..lol..So my activities vary, according to what is available. Later we'll be watching " The Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind". They told me it's a good movie. I hope I will enjoy it.

I don't usually do much. I watch some TV or listen to music and that's usually how I end the day. However, today was a busy day for me. I did some cleaning, washing, etc in my room. I couldn't take the mess anymore, lol. I think I finally snapped and made my move. My room feels cleaner now so I'm happy about that, I guess.

Sunday evenings are spent with my family. Since I'm not working now and my wife used to report to work during sundays, the usual routine is meeting her at the church to hear sunday mass with our kids, then most of the times go home directly and sometimes eat outside. This arrangement is better now compared to those times when I was working outside the country.

Sunday? Here Sunday is the second day of the weekdays. Our weekends are Thursdays and Fridays and the rest of the week are weekdays---tadaaaa,any idea where i am?During the last day of weekend (Friday) the family usually goes out, treat the kids to McDo.Since it's very hot in here we let them spend time in their indoor play area.If it's winter they get to play with sand, swing and slide with other kids. And i make sure that we're home between 6 and 7 so the kid could get enough rest and sleep-the next day is Saturday and it's the first day of school week.Basically that's how we spend it.

On Sunday nights? I think same as other night, although my hubby is works on Monday but I don't have any morning blues, his office is very relaxed and no worries if he would go to work late. and sometimes, we went out and dine out during Sundays, and we sleep late sometimes, but most of the most we are lazy on Sunday nights.

Oh my lovely Sunday. I have a list of must do items to be executed. Example, i must compile weekly report for the past week, action plan for the next week. If that's project related, need to summaries on project status and progress. Then select the attire for the next new day, that including shirt, trousers and shocks. Will target complete all those related tasks by 10pm, latest by 11, then will proceed to rest and sleep and prepare for my new week. Kind of become my practice for every Sunday night, kind of enjoy too.

wow. when do you take time to unwind, if i may ask? it will never be my way of spending a sunday, but that's just me. i prefer to spend time with the family. but i guess if you live alone, and, as you said, you enjoy it, then i guess it's fine, right?

unwind. like just sit back and relax or do anything that is fun for you. i used to live with my mother-in-law, too. but i found it hard to move arounnd with me worrying that i might do something distasteful for her so we chose to move to another city, for a while with my mom but we live in separate apartments now

Is ok, but need your advice on the term you use = Unwind? I am not alone, i start with my mother in law too, thus normally i will need to plan properly when the time my little princess rest and what time for the meal and till their playing perform the tasks of myloting at very late night.

Sunday night.. I consider it as an end to my liberty because, the next day, i don't feel like getting up early to go to office on monday morning. Talking about Sunday night, i don't have special plans but we all friends may usually go for a movie, have dinner outside. Well, since the last 3 weeks, i have joined a test series, so it would be already 3 pm by teh time i come back home after test and have my lunch. Then i watch TV for a while or may even have a nap. In the evening we may think of going outside, have an outing or if not anything else, just a bike ride. Unlike you, I am not lucky to have this opportunity to work from home, so on sunday night, it just feels like, following the same routing for coming 5 days. Neither do i live with my family. So i rather go out with my friends.

My Sunday night is spent at home watching shows on t.v. If there is no show that interest me I’ll pick a good book and read it till midnight or until I fell asleep.

Hi there! Well I live alone and I'm not an adventurous person. I just do mostly the same things everyday and after all my other responsibilities I do mylot until late at night. No particular day that I will change my daily routine and that includes Sundays. I have everything in schedules. It may sound bored to most people but to me its fine. I don't ever get bored even when I'm alone. I know how to occupy my time so as not to get bored. But when I'm with my family in the city, Sundays are our dining out schedules after attending mass. Ciao!

Hello Kayedanda. I am a mother too, so i chose to stay at home and take care of my 5yo boy. I have my own lil shop which manage by my mum. Sunday is church day for the family. I sometimes skips mass, when i don't feel like going. I usually spend my time watching tv, surfing the net, and playin with my son. And sunday night is busy in our shop, i guess its coz we are near the church place, so the last mass, church goers usually stops by in our shop for something to drink. I am not too fond of goin to mall especially weekends, as theres a lot of people.
