Michael Phelps did it! BUT ITS STILL THE WORST GAMES EVER! / myLot

I just finished viewing the mens relay in swimming, Michael Phelps did it. Yippee hurray. I am happy for the Phelps family. I hope they cherish these memories forever. I am wondering though, couldnt Michael Phelps been a little more gracious rather that seeming bored or almost cocky. I still think over all this has been the worst Olympics ever. Its sad to think that these competitors have practiced for most of their lives for this moment in time. With all the negative publicity, it has overshadowed most of the events. I think this is the worst games ever! What do you think?

As long as I remember there has always been some sort of scandal and negative publicity overshadowing the Olympic games. Somebody always has a beef somebody, either from athlete to athlete, team to team, or country to country. I think most people take the Olympics too personal as in win or loss for their country. The focus should be on the athletes, but that's not always the case. I don't think Phelps was bored or cocky. He was happy, but really never has been good at expressing his emotions.
