Ok, so since the tv is all about the Omlypics I have been thinking about it… And it seems that it is just, well… Not very normal to be the best in something… Such as weight lifting? Well… They can lift over twice their weight. And thus they are short and stocky… And runners? They are all so thin and some do not have the normal body shape. I mean, I respect them for what they are doing for a living, but don’t you think it is going abit too far?

I think you can push your body to far in pursuit of victory. The trick is that a sport's governing body, coaches, family members, and even the athletes themselves (when they are old enough to make such decisions, which is often earlier than we as adults give them credit for), must watch for things that go to far and put a stop to it when it does.

hmmm... well, i think that the age of how old you are to make such life changing desicions will differ from one to the other, and how will people know when too far is too far. i think that it is just really difficult to judge things that way. and also, some may be too into winning that they do not want to have a life anymore, but are too focus on winning the next goal. so that is just really difficult to say. good idea though

Athlete objective is to win, they will do anything to win their event. These sport events require physical strength and of course muscles are very much involved with it and trained to the max. The beat the records these days involved more strength, speed and stamina so for sure we would see more overgrown bodies in the future. I think what other people would say about their looks are the very least of their worries.
