How much have you made with adsense?

Adsense is one of advertising site powered by google. I am also publisher of adsense. I am only able to earn 30$ in one year. Very worse earning. So I have a question to ask with you. How much you are making with adsense. Some website said they make more that 500$ a day via adsense. Is it possible. What your view for this..

i have also worked very hard to earn some money
i have worked for almost two months but i was unable to earn a single cent
if somebody may provide me with detailed instructions on how to do it i will be grateful
