It was 2004, the summer of many hurricanes. Charley kicked it off! Then came three more, less destructive but non the less, scary! So now we have Faye. And I feel like, here we go again!!! Yesterday landfall was predicted near Tampa FL, two hours north of me. Today, the National Hurricane Center shows it coming right at Charlotte Harbor, just 20 minutes up the road. Charley decided when it was just off the cost to take a right and head for the same harbor. I just hate the waiting and not knowing. Since I experienced Charley, all those emotions are heightened.
Have you gone through similar HEIGHTENED emotions due to previous experience? What was that experience?
PS: If I'm gone from myLot for a while she hit us, or at least hit close by! Plaese pray for us in Florida and the surrounding countries who have already felt the wrath!

I did not know that this was headed towards you, I did not even know that one was about. I really hope that it does not turn out to be a bad one, it must be really horrible to have to live with the threat of that sort of weather on a regular basis.
With living in the UK, that is at least one thing that we do not get, we get plenty of rain and no summers but none of the really bad weather like you do.

I do get concerned when I hear of them, our news does not report on them so it is only through here that I hear that they are happening. After the big one you had, I always think of everyone when I hear that another one is coming. So I hope that it only turns out to be a little one. xxx
