Weekend Activities

We went target shooting at a local gun range here on Friday which was fun because I hit the bullseye more than once! Then yesterday we went to Georgia to visit my Mom and brother. I haven't seen them in three weeks so it was good to get to go. It takes us about two hours to get from our house to theirs.
My brother is doing better with is staph infection. He's taking his medication and caring for it the way he has been told. He said it's looking alot better. I didn't see it myself because he had his shirt on, but my Mom agreed that it's much improved.
My Mom has problems that are health related and personal. I don't know if she'd want me talking about them online so I won't right now. I just hope somehow things get better for her soon. I worry about her! I talk to her on the phone most every day and see her as often as I can, but dont' really know how to help with all her problems.

Sounds like you are quite the target shooter! Your trip to GA sounds nice. Glad to hear your brother is doing better. Sorry to hear your Mom is struggling right now.
We went out to dinner twice this weekend. Once with my sis and her husband, and once with our next door neighbors. We always enjoy the company of others. I made Pecan Bars and had the neighbors over for dessert. Plus, we don't like to have alot of fattening stuff in the house and they ate them all but one bar, which my husband had for lunch today.
The rest of today was consumed with hurricane preparedness. Oh, I did walk 40 minutes on the treadmill and I'm thinking we're gonna jump in the pool here within the next 30 minutes or so. Before dinner.
