Can You Love Someone Who Can't Love Themselves?

I've been working non-stop to fix my stupid little self esteem issue just because I know It's hard to love someone who hates themselves. Everyone has doubts. But If people grew up and accepted that they were amazing individuals..we wouldn't really have a problem..What about you guys, Do you love someone who can't love themselves?

hey there slepart!I can't love someone who can't love themselves.If they don't love themselves,they can't possibly love me.

I had a boyfriend who had a real self esteem/ego problem. One minute he was cutting other people down and the next minute he was criticizing himself. It became very hard to love that after a while!
