I recently watched Christian the Lion from YouTube. It was about a cub brought up by 2 friends but when the lion became too big to handle, they were told to send the lion to Africa. The Lion became the king of its own pride. Hearing this, the two friends wanted to see their "cub" but they were told that the lion became wild and it was not advisable for them to visit Africa as they might risk their lives. The two friends still went ahead and visit their lion friend. The movie clip was so touching. I have goosebumps as i watched it. I just felt a tear fell from my eyes when suddenly, the lion embraced them. I really felt the happiness from the two friends. A reminder was written at the end of the clip: Love knows no limits and True Friendship Lasts a Lifetime. Get Back in Touch with Someone Today. I suddenly felt guilty. I am not the kind of person to get in touch with my friends too much. In fact, when I sense that a friend does wanted to be close, I tend to back out, knowingly or unknowingly. It's my opportunity since childhood and I wanted to change. I know that friendship should be valued and true friendships last a lifetime.

Such a very nice story. Its very true that true friendship last for a lifetime. This is the reason why even if sometimes its hard, I really do my best to keep my friends with me, even distance could not hinder me from doing things that could keep us all in touch thus nurture the friendship that we have.
Lets all be a FRIEND to everyone!

It's hard for me to keep in touch with some true friends since we move a lot. Some of them view my friendster profile every now and then but I either forgot or just have no time to add them. I am really bad! Probably I always think that there is still tomorrow, they will always be there.. but what if... tomorrow may not come?

Great story... touching, yes. I really enjoy stories and movies with this theme. Now I'm thinking of logging out of mylot and logging on to youtube to get a firsthand viewing of the clip! :)

you can just see the smiles the 2 friends have when finally they were embraced by the lion! And all i thought was that if an animal is already secured in his environment, he won't remember anything. This moved me since as human beings we are supposed to be more intelligent and far carrying better emotions than them. I sometimes take other friends for granted. i started to do some thinking right now.

hi...i watched that movie clip through YouTube too..my friend sent it to me..at first i feel nothing about it until my friend explain it to me then i know the meaning behind the movie clip..i am the kind of person who don't really spend much time with my friends and maintain our friendship..i know this is really a bad habit but i get used to it..i think its really hard to get a friend for a lifetime..because it is hard to found a friend that can fully been trust..maybe it is my own problem..
so a reminder to everyone, try your best to care and keep in touch with your friends before everything is too late..for me, i will try my best to do so too..
