Last Minute Wedding Problems

Just got married. For me it was wonderful and romantic for we had a garden wedding. There was a bit of disappointment because some of the guests wasn't able to attend in the last minute. And the food in the reception was finalized because of the head count. Anyways, the wedding went well. The weather was nice, the roses were pretty and fragrant. Though my family wasn't here, my parents-in-law were there. They're so helpful and supportive. I am so happy with my relationship I have with my husband right now.
How's your wedding like? Did you experience last minute problems? How did you settle them? Your sharing is highly appreciated.

When I went to collect my cake, it was not as i had requested. We had seen photographs of the previous cakes the woman had made and they were lovely but mine was a mess... I could have done it better myself. So we managed to contact a local baker who had a 'spare' one! Unfortunately, on the morning of the wedding, the top tier slipped off and crashed to the floor.
We also had a problem with the venue... we had hired the local village hall and did all our own catering (buffet) but, we were told a few days before that the local cricket team would be coming through the hall for their tea half way through the reception! We were able to convince them to go through a different door.
Oh, and we have 2 wedding certificates as my husband just put his signature on the first one instead of writing his full name.

That's all we can do...it already happened. What best is to find a solution to that. And y'all did a good job, I guess. It's all part of the experience. But what's most important is that, the wedding went well.

Wow! Congratulations! I also got married last month. I felt the same way as yours. Some of my expected guests didn't show up. I was so much disappointed. I admit I really expect so much about my wedding. I've done everything just to make it memorable, but that's life, we can't get everything we want. After my wedding I was thinking I hope I can bring back the time. I want to make it happen again and make it more memorable and enjoyable. Some of my friends says it's perfect some says it's not. But I realized the most important thing is you enjoy your day and your guests had fun. Again congratulations and best wishes!

Congratulations to you too! Wedding is one of the most important event in our life. I don't care about what other people say. What's important is we made it. So don't bother thinking about what your friends are saying. Best wishes!

i didn't experience any last minute changes and problems because i have never been married. ^__^;; just dropped by to extend my congratulations and i'm sure you are tired now but happy and excited. it must be really nice to have a garden wedding right? that's one of my dreams, either to have a beach wedding or a garden wedding. i'd like to be different and not follow the traditional church wedding. i think it would be more memorable and fun if its on outdoors.

Thank you for the greetings. I really appreciate it. Well, I just can't get that out of my mind. My husband keeps on telling me to forget those and keep the memory of the wedding ceremony instead. Oh well, garden wedding is very romantic. I hope you'll get your dream wedding soon.
