have anyone watched these shows before?
i have, when i was in secondary school, about 3 years ago.
and let me tell you, it is really disgusting.
the shows are short clips that show cute furry animals (cartooned) and how they suffer horrid deaths.
yes, alot of blood and gore.
i really, think that the show is really sick.
so, have any one else watch it?
how do you feel about it?
will you allow your kids to watch the shows?

ive only seen perhaps 1/2 dozen of the episodes but i loved them! friggin hilarious! of course i woulndt let my kid watch, it isnt a kids cartoon. and like the person above says..they are cartoons, they dont show kids/ppl abusing the animals.if it did it would be an entirely different show..and a horrible one at that.

I have watched a lot of Happy Tree Friends and quite enjoy them. I am an animal lover, but no actual animals are hurt in the process of the cartoons and they also do not show people being cruel to animals (which might have encouraged those watching to recreate what they saw).
I'm normally very affected by blood and guts in medical dramas such as ER and Grey's Anatomy, but where all of the blood is not real in this show it does not bother me so much.
I don't think they should ever be shown to children, who would become very easily upset by the show. They are very much an adult show.

yeah i agree...
it is really an adult show...
no doubt about that...
i like to watch house, and grey's anatomy...
i dont know...
i mean...
those are about HEALING people, but happy tree friends are like "killing" cartoon caractors...
but the worst combinations HAS to be killing people..
like saw and other murder shows..

Happy Tree Friends is post-modern. And it is a stress normalizer. Haha
