do you sometimes find your parents unreasonable?

yes i do.. here's the picture, i work hard enough to provide them with their needs and in return i expect them to take care of themselves since almost everything is being given to them. yet, when problems arise, they sort of blame me for what has happened. do you think its fair?

sometimes. i have also seen when i provide for their need it is ok. i also think its my duty to do so. but next moment they are unreasonable. i am space goat for anything

yes, i also think it is our duty to help our parents.. it is a sort of a payback for all the things and hardships they have done for us.. hope sometimes they would give us credit for that :-)

no, its not fair and even i am going thru the same as you...hope these parents can understand what we are going thru...why they cannot understand us i donno...but in the end we should know its not the parents doing so its the age that they are ...and its the generation gap between them and us...whatever i love my parents and i know they love me...even if they are sometimes as you said unreasonable.

yeah, i guess our parents and us think differently, and there's nothing more we could do than to understand and accept that they are like that

All the time dear! Hugs to you. Life is never fair and I can NEVER understand what the hell goes on in our parents minds. Not all parents are the same though. I also pray hard to God I won't be unreasonable to my kids. I do not want my kids to have ill feelings against me. I want them to be open to me all the time.

hi there jammy, i'm happy you understand how i feel and i wish your prayers will be answered. it's hard when your kids will have ill feelings towards you. i guess my parents are just very lucky, even if they are that unreasonable, i still can't do anything against them, they're still my parents.
