I did a little planting yesterday. I started zuchinni,spinach,mixed bell peppers,bell peppers,watermellons and chives from seeds. We will see how they grow. I am eventually going ot invest in a grow light. I love growing my own veggies and fruit.

I had to take a double take to see where you live as planting season here is over, lol. I take it your are trying your hand at indoor gardening? I don't think that it would be worth it monetary wise, if grow lights are needed, with the cost of electricity and all. Well, good luck;)

Nope here in Florida we are blessed to be able to garden year round. I just want a grow light when i am starting seedlings. I love being in FL for the yearround growing. We have such mild "winters" that we really only have a hard time growing anything in the summer cause it is seriously hot here in the summer so most of our growing is backwards from the rest of the country.

You are very lucky to be in Florida, I'm jealous :) I have a huge garden but here in Michigan we have a short growing period so have to get what we can when we can - I'm doing a lot of canning and freezing these days.

i bet thats great, you can save alot of money like that too, my aunt use to grown tomatoes and peppers and she had an apple tree. we used to love going over and picking them apples, i remeber fallen off a few times lol, but it is a good investment to make.... good luck on your fruits and vegi's
