The endorsement deals are rolling in for Phelps

Phelps already is collecting about $5 million a year in endorsement checks.
Before the Beijing Olympics, Phelps collected a million-dollar bonus from Speedo.He may be at $30, $40, $50 million a year in endorsements after all this is said and done.Do you think we are seeing the next Tiger Woods or Beckham? That is alot of money.

That is alot of money just for endorsements. I can think of alot of other things that money could be better spent on especially in times like these with the economy looking so bad well..for some anyhow. I am glad he is doing so well.

he might not be as good looking as Ian Thorpe the former Australian freestyle swimmer but any swimmer can easily make tonnes of money from endorsement cheques,I have to agree.
