can a wish come true?

i have seen many people whenever their hair from eyelashes fall they keep it in their hand and make a wish and they blow the hair away...do you think like this way can a wish come true?...i don't beleive in this but sometimes even i do it.

To me, a wish is like- making a dream come true. It takes action out of us to make it happen. Most of my life I have been a dreamer and these dreams often take me away from my problems by clouding my mind to reality. I'll never stop being a dreamer. But, life has taught me to learn the difference between my true wants and needs.

ok i agree it takes action out of us to make it happen...and i know if we just wish and sit there waiting for it to happen ...nothing is going to happen...but if we are going to do it...then why is it called wish then?..for me i prefer a wish to be something i cannot do and when i wish it comes true without doing it.

Hey, I guess we all want our wishes to come true... Maybe the power of positive thinking can come in handy at times. I like surprises and for things to "just happen" out of the blue, too! Could it be that if we wish for something hard enough and long enough that it transpires as if by magic? Let's hope so because without that wonderful, magical feel...our life might be a bit boring! I'm a wee bit spiritual!

i do it always.. i think there's nothing wrong with wishing. it just proves that you keep your hopes up and that you have FAITH that they will come true.

Hi there Rahil! I don't believe that but it's fun. I always do that. I also wish whenever I pass through a railroad.

I do this everytime I have an eyelash on my cheek, I even take them from other people's cheeks and ask them to blow and make a wish! (only people I know though, not random people in the street, that might be a bit odd! hehe). I don't think I honestly believe that this is going to make a wish come true but it's something that I have always done since I was a child, like making a wish if you catch a sugar stealer!! Not a lot of truth in it but it's nice to think that sometimes there is a little magic in life! xx
