If you are sitting on a Time Machine and you have the option to visit any particular period of time what will be your choice and why ?

At the moment, I'm having problems with my relationship with my husband. So I feel like going back to the time before we were married to start all over again.

Sorry to hear that . But you said you'd still like to go back to the time before you were married and start everything afresh . That shows how deep your love is for your husband . I hope this is just a bad patch in your life . Get over the situation and we will have a lot of chat in the coming days .

I'd visit about 200-500 years to future because I'd like to know how thing develop: would global warming kill us all? Could we stop it when there's still time? If so, what inventions we would have made? The past isn't so interesting because you can know what happened in the past but you can't predict what happens in the future.

I think that I would probably wish to go back in time to visit the 1800's to see how life was back then. I would probably want to go and see if I could track down my fiance's ancestors as well as mine, and see if we are anything like they are. If we have the same ideals we do, and see what their take of the future was. How they thought we'd evolve, and gauge their reaction when we tell them what the future really is. Of course I know this may alter the fabric of time, but I do think that it wouldn't to much as I am sure that if they were to tell their friends, family and neighbors of what we told them, our ancestors would probably be laughed at and deemed cuckoo. I am not sure what other time period I would like to visit, but I think that if anything I would want to go further in time to maybe see the ancestor's parents when they were younger but not to actually talk to them, but to observe how they farmed or hunted for livestock and feed. Very interesting discussion.

Very interesting answer as well . Perhaps the best part of going back to the past lies in the fact that you can practically compare what your ancestors used to think about the then future events with the things that have actually happened .

Any time from the past or can it be in the future? I want to see the world 200 years from now. See if United States is still in war with Iraq, that is if it's still a country by itself. Or see if the continents are still 7. If pole shift is true. If humans still have 2 eyes, 2 ears. If there's a cure for AIDS. And see if kids in the future even know how to socialize with people, or if computer games are the replacements for friends. Hehe.
