Who is/are your favourite director(s) and what films have they directed? What is it about them and their films that you like so much?

well i like Steven Spielberg... he is just too amazing. his movies are like a portrait of imagination. i mean when you watch his movie you automatically get transferred to a different world of his. i feel every director should have that power.

I like a lot of directors, but I definitely have some favorites. Alejandro González Iñárritu - Directed Amoros Perros, 21 Grams, and Babel. Quentin Tarantino - Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Ridley Scott - Thelma & Louise, Legend, Hannibal, Matchstick Men I think these are my top three. They are all so different, but they all have inspired me in some way.

At first when I read this I thought I didn't really have a favorite director, but then I thought about it and I thought of one. I really like Kevin Smith's movies. He also tends to write his movies and he acts in them, too. So, I'm not really sure if I love the way he is as a director or all of those things combined. He has directed the 'Jay And Silent Bob' movies. I believe there are six of those. He also directed 'Jersey Girl' and 'Catch And Release'. There are a few others, too but I haven't seen them all. I like that his movies are funny.

I'm not choosy with directors but I do like movies by Frank Darabont. Those include The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, The Majestic, and The Mist. It's also fun that most of these are actually based from Stephen King books. I was able to watch the Majestic last but it disappointed my quite a bit. Still, it was a good movie. I'm a also a fan of the movie Leon/The Professional starring Jean Reno. It was directed by Luc Besson. I have watched some of his other works like The Fifth Element, Subway (1985 French film starring Christopher Lambert) and La Femme Nikita. I have yet to see La Femme Nikita (the movie as opposed to the series) and I'm so excited. Fun trivia though, both of them were born on the same year and on the same country, cool!
