How do I prevent the inner side of the windshielf from fogging up when it rains

Whenever I drive my car in the rain the inside of the windshield mists or fogs up. This is even when I roll down the windows or turn on/off the AC.
Is there any way to prevent this? Can any of you give me some tips?
I have to keep drying it and its a pin driving the car!

You need to have the heater on and directed to the windsheild, that will prevent the fogging
