Any Activity Ideas for Kids?

I posted a website that tells you how to make ice cream by rolling a coffee can back and forth. My kids loved that. Look up "coffee can ice cream" and you'll find a recipe. Try pipe cleaner dolls, they're fun. I always enjoyed making dolls out of peg clothes pins and putting on a play with them. Old socks make good puppets and are easy to decorate. Making their hand prints and putting them in a cardboard frame that they can decorate with glitter and buttons is fun, too. Play "Telephone", where you tell the first person a short message and see how it gets distorted as it goes around the circle. We played that in kindergarten and it was funny. Have a joke telling session and act out the jokes and have props. Study fish, all the different kinds, and have the children color pictures of them. Hang them up so that you're "inside" an aquarium. I'm sure you'll get a lot of other ideas! My boys and I would spend hours with Legos when they were that age. See if you can get hold of some. Making surprises for mom and dad are always big hits and make the children feel proud of themselves, also make the parents happy.

How about getting some poster board and finger paint. and some paint brushes and other things like sponges. and with the sponges you can cut them into shapes like stars. and maby get some freather dusters to play in the paint too, they make a diffresnt design. ans the week befor you could have them design there own apron so they dont get paint all over there clothes. its just an idea
