mylot vs yahoo answers, something nice

Something I have noticed that seems nice about mylot is that it seems that most people that write here say nice things and there isn't too much abuse.
for example in yahoo answers in the vegetarian category, people would say things about meat, just to stir vegetarians - otherwise why would they have been in that category at all?
Also I think the quality of responses is better here, hardly any low quality responses. Even many of the short ones can be short because sometimes you just require a short respons.
what do you think?

Don't be too enamored. I've read some fights that would send chills down your spine. But you're right, all in all, people are very nice here. I think one of my problems with gaining responses is that I tend to get too cerebral in my questions. Rather than ask simple questions, I tend to get too involved which seems to turn people off. The questions which are brief and to the point, with a short example, seem to get the best responses.

Yes, I have probably spent a bit too much time here lately, it is hard work, trying to respond to all those. It will be even harder to chose a best response because there are so many good replies. At least I have found out that I can rate them, so even if I don't chose them as the best response, I hope giving them a good rating helps.

Well, over all myLot is a Great site to be in, and the nice thing compared to sites like Yahoo answers, is this site pays you for posting where the other ones do not. I really think this site has a lot to offer. And as long as you do not post too controversial of a discussion things are usually great here as well.

I think mylot has more categories/interests than yahoo answers. And another thing is that many responders in yahoo answers debate alot and fight. And of course, the best thing about mylot is that it pays you every time you comment.
