is it really important?

I think that it is absolutely necessary to have an education. You have to have some type of training if you really want to be successful in my opinion. I graduated from college this May, and I'm STILL going to continue my education. I think that when people don't go to college, they're not thinking of the long run and are being lazy. I have a certain dream career that I'd like to have, and in order for me to do so, I'd have to continue my education. And not only that, I'm about to become a mother,(this has been the busiest year of my life)and I have to be able to give her my best, and she also needs to know the importance of college. when you finish college, you feel proud and you feel like you'll have something to fall back on, instead of just doing some random job just to get by. A lot of people have a what I cal "low income mentality" lol, and feel they don't need college, and I can't stand it. You should always want what's best for you. I mean, you just have to go for your future.

Education is only a foundation. We do need this for us to easily succeed, but it is useless if we did not use it correctly. Yeah, that's true, many people got successful even though they are not finish college or even high school, but bear in mind that they are working hard just to meet their goals unlike those people who is relying to what they have learned but did not have the passion and the determination for them to succeed. People did not go into school are willing to work hard than people finished studying,this is the reason why I love my parents, they did not finished schooling yet, even they are just elementary level, they are proud having their siblings finished college from their own ability to earn money. We have lots of businessman, for example, selling vegetables, they earn a lot of money and they are very successful. For me Education is important as long as we can use it correctly, otherwise, it is useless.

Education is the best gift anyone can ever have. No one can rob you of the knowledge you gain from studying. If you are educated, you can go places and find work. For those who did not study or finish their studies but are successful, it may not always work that way. that is just a coincidence.

hi melcahjone...there are the lucky ones that are successful without an education, but more people benefit and need it to make a better life for themselves. to you don't want a doctor who is untrained performing surgery on you, right? there are many professions that education is a must. and jobs that didn't require a college education before now require it. but we still need people to do the servitude jobs. in fact because of the rise of people getting an education, there is a shortage of mechanics and such. they are now encouraging young students to choose a career in manual labor. :D don't you love it?
