My predictions for General Hospital....

Okay, my predictions....
First:they say Sonny is going out. Whether it is the actor needs vacation or the character needs a vacation...but odds are he'll leave even "die" soon and come back next February which is sweeps month (I think, but whichever month that is) and come swooping in out of the dead to save the day - because......supposedly Steve Burton is leaving the show due to living to far from the "job site" at the end of his contract which is somewhere about that same time. SO They might kill Jason or do something to have him ride off in the sunset after they have Sonny come back and save Port Charles.
Then: they say Brenda is coming back - well, today jason was ready to pull the trigger on Karpov until a little girl came running to him with hugs and kisses - Jason of course immediately pulled back. I predict that Brenda is Mrs. Karpov and that is their daughter!
Then: Laura comes out of her catatonic stage, saves LUlu, askes Scott to drop all charges against Lulu (like she deserves anything from him!) and of course he will and then she goes back to her "non-returnable catatonic stage" and LuLu and John will go off into the sunset - can't imagen GH keeping those two around...don't see the point!
So....what do you think? Got any predictions?

I haven't been watching the show as much as I used to because I now work and am not always home in time to watch it. But I do get to watch it once or twice a week so I know I haven't missed much. I agree with you a couple of your predictions, especially about Laura coming out of her state and saving Lulu. I watched it yesterday when Nicholaus went to see her and it was my first thought. I thought she was going to wake up right then and say something. The writers are sure making the show interesting but now they have to move onto another story soon as it is dragging out too long, the Lulu thing. You could also be right about Brenda's daughter. Why else would they bring another character into the story? It should be interesting to see where they go with it. I will keep watching the show when I can and see if you are right or not.

GH I think holds the Honor of "Longest Dragging Out of Storylines" for day time soaps! THey are pretty bad about it. But guess we'll see how it all goes! Should be interesting! I have not been watching a few days a week - well, I will record it thinking I"ll watch it later only to find nothing happened that day! Seems Fridays nad Mondays are the "best" days to watch if you want to watch more than the dragging lines!

Funny, I just said that to my daughter the other day, that Fridays and Mondays were the best days to watch soaps as they are the most exciting. She doesn't watch soaps so that is why the subject came up, she wanted to watch something else on a tues or wed or thurs and I told her go ahead since nothing happens on those days anyways.

Hey coffeebreak--great predictions. Sorry I haven't been around in awhile, it has been one heckuva summer for me and going by way too fast. I Loooove your Brenda as Mrs Karpov prediction, I can soooo totally see that! Wish Sonny and Kate would just ride off into the sunset, he is sooo selfish and she is sooo blind when it comes to him. Jason , on the other hand, he may well leave, but I have a feeling TPTB are in the midst of offering him the world to stay even as we speak. Besides, many fans LOooove him as the new mob boss/enforcer all rolled into one. The Jason and Elizabeth story has only just begun and Guza loves his angst where these two are concerned. The Morgan family will be one day immortalized in GH for sure for sure as there will always be Jake the living legacy. Right now half Spencer, half Quartermaine, but totally Morgan, tee hee. Johnny and Lulu, much as I hate to admit--we better get used to seeing them on our screens, They ain't goin' nowhere. Guza loves them I have heard them referred to as the next Jason and Liz. So there ya have it.

As long has they keep Jason - I'll deal with Johnny and Lulu!! And If they are going to subject us to Brenda - at least give her a purpose or reason this time! Mrs Karpov - that'd open alot of options for stories involving alot of different people instead of just her bed buddies! HOpefully the fall will be more exciting than the summer has been! I love Jason's facial expressions - say a ton of words with one single look! I have noticed that hty are focusing on that more these days - sure give anticipation and humor to the show! Glad to have you back, by the way!
