What makes Superman a Superman?

Have you ever wonder whar makes Superman a superman? Does it has something to do on what he's doing or was it based on his looks? What do you think? What do you really think of Superman? Mind to share it with me?

he is superman because he can do things that normal people on earth can't and won't do. Half of his being Superman is cause by the people around him and half of it is because of what he is. He won't be superman if he is not a good guy and do those noble things. And people won't also consider him superman with just his powers alone.

Well, he might be everything and anything you guys can say... but to me, a real man doesn't wear "underwears" over his pants! :)
