If I were PGMA, I will declare an all out war with the MILF. lolz!.. Seriously, I pity our fellow Filipinos in Mindanao. So many have died already because of this non-sense war. If only the rebels will come to their senses and realize the kind of damage they have caused our country and our kababayans as well.=) Let's just pray and hope for peace! Peace be with you mylotters!

Honestly peace talks in my opinion won't work for these guys. They should be crushed and since they don't respect the peace talks even though they say it's just part of the lost command. They can't even handle their own men how would they handle their own land? I just hope that they would stop attacking for peace to really be there.

I agree with you there. They said that violence isn't the way to solve violence, but apparently these rebels don't just respect peace talks. So,we are left with no alternative. We'll just hope for peace to prevail after this. Happy mylotting!

There have been reports of miscommunication amongst MILF ranks that lead to this dilemma, but from what I gather, the MILF members responsible for the current carnage are dissatisfied because PGMA and her government promised them benefits that bureaucratic red tape has made impossible. So, while the MILF should be held responsible for the destruction of peace, lives and livelihood they've cause on certain parts of Mindanao, the government should also be held responsible for indirectly causing the trouble in the first place. If they can't see how they're destroying the very thing they were elected to work for, well. Not like much can be done, anyway. The state of the government has long entered the no-hope zone.

I agree with you there! It does take two to tango. Let's just see if both parties will be willing to compromise for the sake of peace. Good day!
