A little girl at the age of 8 tells her grandmother that her stepfather is hurting her. This is reported to the police to find out the little girl has been sexually assaulted. She was brought to the emergency room and it was all confirmed. Are you ready for this her step dad is a police officer, he turned himself in saying he was just under alot of stress and on a daily basis for approximately 1 year sexually assaulted( raped and penetrated her) his step daughter. He admitted to this, are you ready to hear his punishment? He is on probation for four years with pay, the reason is if he doesnt get paid he can not support the child. If after 4 years he does not break his probation he will not have to register as a child molester. He will be getting his full pention. Please for the love of God someone explain to me why he is treated different than any other child rapist?

The part that gets me is that he walked in and confessed. Automatically that makes him guilty. There are men that are accused of this that never did anything mostly fathers accused over a child custody and the system puts them through hell with no evidence and ruin thier lives and locks them away... Don't get me wrong if it is in the evidence that a man hurt a child give him the max. But please remember many men are falsely accused as well. This man confessed and is guilty as hell and gets a slap on the wrist.

I know what you are saying, I agree alot of men are falsleyy accused, a mom wants her children. It happens all the time, shame on the person falsley accusing them. But this, this is unacceptable, I am waiting until Aug 18th, I want to see what this "Confessed" person gets. In my eyes, he killed a child, not literally, in the physical sense.. but he did, mentally. I was sooo friggin' sick! He confessed! I had no clue. This man was at my son's parties. I used to watch his daughter... no wonder she (daughter)wouldn't let me change her diaper... So sad! I am so angry, that poor baby (the daughter); she doesn't have a clue! Or she does.. oh I can't think about this. Why do people do this???????

I can not think of a reason why people would do such horrible acts. But the sad part about many men being falsely accused of such acts and some are even found guilty without any evidence at all just because they were accused. but once accused you can never deem yourself of such allegations to the public. People making the false accusations should be prosecuted.. without physical or psychological support of it no one should be presecuted either.

That is so wrong!! It does not matter how high up he is, he should get what anyone else would. I just cannot believe that he has gotten off so easy!!

Tell me about it, the courts have now set a new rule if you admit you do it then you get a slap on the wrist. I just dont get it... excuse me your honor but I was so stressed at work today that I decided I would feel better if I raped my daughter, and will you please tell my boss that he needs to pay me so I can make child support payments. For everyones information I was in the courtroom when this was all done so I did not go by what media reported I heard it myself!

Okay after reading what I typed I did not mean they legally set a rule I mean once this is done in one case this is what lawyers use.. other cases.

Well, this ought to make all the child molesters that are doing 10-15 years for it happy to know that if they'd been wearing a badge they would have gotten probation. I wonder how many ppl sitting in prison aren't paying child support either? If child support were a get out jail free card then the prisons would probably be empty. This is really sickening, not just over what he did (that's completely disgusting) but that the law isn't being applied to him. It also makes me wonder how he can go around enforcing a law that he isn't even being held to. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Why is it that I'm not surprised? Cops get away with just about anything but yes this does take the cake but why is it that I'm not surprised? The d@mned b@st@rd should have his nuts cut off and stuffed in is mouth and then his head should be placed on a platter!! I'm so sick of the like hiding behind one another and getting away with basically murder!! Doctors hide behind one another and get away with their mistakes unless for some unbelievable reason, they forgot to dot this one i or cross this one t that they get caught. This low life will have his day, you watch and see, he'll have his day. Someone is going to do him some real harm and I won't feel sorry for him one bit!

I just hope when it comes his way he is tortured over a year before he is put to rest. ...Just like his stepdaughter suffered. And please dont kill him let him live with the memories of everything that happened to him and how he was violated.

He is treated different than any other child rapist because the judge and the district attorney in the case are idiots. Welcome to the Boy's Club, where the elite get the breaks and the rapists go free because they wear a badge. That is so disgusting and I really hope that somehow this situation is brought to the attention of the media and that there is an outcry for justice for this child.
