the management should be always capable of handling any situations at hand. whether today or in future. precisely that is what peter drucker had in mind when he wrote principles of management. in the succeeding decades our management experts proved themselves unworthy and unfit with conflicting theories and total lack of understanding of anything at their hand. managements approach to anything situation should be simple. anything complicated is bound to create unnecessary confusions which consume precious time and resources. If you have read Prof.Mintzberg, then you will definitely agree with me. I am not forcing you to agree with me. but i want you to differentiate between what is good and what is bad management strategies. do we require certain practices which have no relevance to the task at hand? today there is a big hype or a halo created around the term management. i hope we will have a good string of critical discussion going to happen here in the days to come. Well, i am all charged up to be an active participant in it.
