robots of the future

I really love robots, the actual ones like Asimo and Aibo are so cute. Even in the movies like R2D2 and Number 5 from the Short Circuit movie are so intellectual. I even love robot cartoons like Voltes V and astroboy. So who's your favorite robot of all time, why did you choose it or is it him?

It is intelligent in some ways, but it still runs on programs. Maybe they can design a robot with an Artificial Intelligence just like Haley Joel Osment in the movie A.I. But Encarta is really a wonderful robot. Thanks for the added information PortHell.
