Cowboy-Batman-Rush McCAIN or Gutter-ball OBAMA?

Yes, it is true. At least one author/commentator thinks McCain will win easily. He puts forth the opinion that the swagger of the old time cowboys, the heroism of Batman, and the brashness of Rush Limbaugh combine in McCain to demonstrate a superior reptillian brain in McCain. The author goes on to explain his theory Americans always elect the superior reptillian brain to high office. Sound wierd. Here's the story. http://www.spectator.org/dsp_article.asp?art_id=13726 I say that this story in combination with the story some time ago of Obama going bowing (rolled a 37!) demonstrates McCain truely might win. What do you say?

I think he has a very good point. After all, there has to some underlying reason that despite the pro-Obamoron propaganda spewed by the MSM that Obamaniac is not enjoying a comfortable 2 digit lead over McCain in the polls. As it is they are just about even and have been for some time now. The fact that the "anointed one" keeps changing positions and getting caught in lies can't be helping much either. At a minimum this suggests pandering, indecisiveness, and dishonesty.... which is not actually much change in politics as usual. Add the fact of inexperience and we have a real loser.

Yes. People like Obama are in the long run likely to give affirmative action a bad name.

Affirmative Action is unconstitutional... it promotes discrimination against whites. It already has a bad name... and casts doubt on the qualifications of anyone eligible to take advantage of it, including those who do not.

Well, yes, affirmative action would be thrown out if the courts read the law as written, not in accordance with their misguided good intentions.

I think I like Jeffrey Lord's analysis. Besides being an entertaining piece to read, it makes a lot of sense. I have been thinking for a couple of months that Obama's media projected image is lacking something vital. Now Jeffrey has gone and put his finger on it! Obama has no reptilian brain to guide his policies. He can never be perceived as a "shoot from the hip" cowboy hero with his calm voice, inspiational oratories and perfectly "logical" solutions to problems. America needs a hero who can instinctively shoot from the hip in these troubling times of war and ecomomic uncertainty, someone to inspire the kind of confidence a batman movie inspires that in the end good will triumph and everything will be okay. McCain is the guy and I think he will win.

Reptilian brain, I would have never thought of that one. Also comparing the brashness of Rush to McCain is a little out there. Yes Rush and McCain are both brash but Rush uses his brashness against Democrats while McCain often uses his against Republicans. Yes McCain at one time was a man of valor and heroic but those days have gone by. McCain has started fighting is because he has too. Never has any of his Democrat opposition to his Senate seat offered him any competition, so maybe McCain is just a slow starter. Past all of that I say it was a good piece.

I have got to admit this reptillian brain business seems a little 'out there' to me. The guy might as well have said McCain is more of a snake than Obama, but he'll win. At least he thinks McCain will win. I like that part.
