I started reading this article and I was wondering if people would know what runs up thier electric bills. In a time when money is short we need all of the tips we can get.

Those are good tips..I do all of those things already. Eventually I'd like to get a more efficient HVAC, water heater, and clothes washer...but we're pretty good at avoiding turning the AC on much, we turned down the water heater, and I wash all of my clothes in cold or warm (not hot) water.
