Do You Allow Litte Or no response to your discussions stop you from posting them

I'm going on my second year here on Mylot and I've started discussions that have gotten over one hundred responses and a few that have only gotten one or two, yet I never stop posting discussions. I think it's kind of exciting to read all the responses and I always wonder which ones will be popular and which ones will not. I'm usually wrong, but I don't care, I still love to post. Do you feel that if you don't get good responses to your discussions that it will stop you from posting them?

I've had several discussions with little--sometimes no response at all but it still has not stopped me from posting discussions. The most I've ever gotten is like 40 yet I'm still happy because even if my discussions don't make a big wave, I can still make my own "little" waves with the responses I post on other people's discussions. Besides, I've always been comfortable with just responding rather than starting discussions.

There's no way to guarantee what will get a lot of interest here. Usually the weekends are slower, so I don't expect a discussion to do too well, but then I've seen a day here and there that were busier than most weekdays. Sometimes I'll try to think of what might be interesting enough to generate a good number of responses, and at other times I start a discussion just because I need input, and not concerned if just one or two people give me a decent reply or whether it's 30.

There are times that I've started discussions to get the maximum amount of responses, but I try to pick topics that interest me. Like you though, I often need some input on something I'm dealing with. I have find an unending amount of support here so the social networking has far exceeded the earning potential.

No way...I love starting discussions. Some ppl have their own way of doing things and insist that ppl have to reply to every response, I don't. I read them all but only reply to those that I feel I need to. I think it's also exciting to see how a discussion goes over and who likes it and doesn't like it and other ppl's views on it. I often get it wrong too - about the ones that will be popular and which won't...I think at times some discussions may get no response because they do not interest many people or people may not relate to it and those that do get more responses, a lot can relate to or feel strongly enough to provide a response.. No, it doesn't put me off posting when I do not get good or few responses to a discussion, I just think I've got to post something more interesting or something more can relate to so maybe it kinda motivates me to do better.. It was a lot easier responding than starting my own discussions when I first started, but once I was more active, I found I enjoy doing both

I ever had a few discussions with one or two responses, but I still keep on posting until now. I believe that when I had few responses for the certain discussions maybe because there were few people with this kind of experience so there was nothing much to share with. I think it cannot be the reason we quit from Mylot. Happy posting and keep on never give up,lol.

Nothing will stop me from posting. Nothing will discourage me not even no response I think. I have had some no response but later after few months responses came in and I was so glad about it. I also had a discussion that's been long ago but still being responded till recently and it really exceed more than a hundred. I believe our attitude should be just positive. Little or no response is not a major thing to get discouraged. It happens to most of us here. It's just part of the whole game so let's keep on enjoying.

Since I sign up, I started discussion and nobody answers until I found the common topic and got more response. If i get no response some discussion, it's ok with me. I move on and find another topic that would interest anyone. I just learn through error and trails to find good topics to get response if i want responses.

No matter what I would continue to post whether or not I got good post or bad post, some post or no post at all. I have just started posting on here, but I continue to post and I enjoy doing the post and I love reading them as well. I love reading any post though, cause I like to see what people's thoughts are on certain topics that I couldn't post on my own.

I have only posted one or two things on my own discussion since I just started the other day but mostly I post just to vent something or get something off my chest -- doesnt matter what it is or if I get posts to it

Well, I just signed up yesterday. I've only posted 2 discussions so far. I've gotten a few for one so far, and the other I haven't gotten any yet. But I noticed that some categories don't get very many questions or answers. I might search for an interest--like sign lanugauge--and notice that there aren't many recent posts. Even if I don't get the answers I'm seeking, I'll still continue to ask. And when I ask enough questions, I'll probably go back and review. Maybe I'll end up getting an answer at a differnt time.

I have posted a few things which have received no response at all but it didn't discourage me from posting any further discussions if I think of something I want to post about. I mostly do better just commenting on topics others have started.
