Although there are terrifyingly harsh winds blowing, officials have announced that the storm has passed. I really don't want to go back to school, but it has to happen sometime. I've decided that I'm going to be a lot less strict this year. It'll release a lot of my tension, and make the school year beter for the kids and for me. I included exactly what they have to do and what they can't do in the syllabus, and I'll just attach a copy with the offense highlighted, attached to a disciplinary referral, and send them to the office. I rarely havedisciplinary problems in my classes but the ones that do happen are so very disruptive and aggravating. If I make the school year go more smoothly for myself, it's automatically smoothr for the kids, too. Their senior year will be better, and so will mine. That's another big step in living life to its fullest!
