I agree that Iraq now has a chance of coming together to build a just and fair society. Will they accept the challenge? I disagree, however, that Bush or any other of the Western countries involved in invading Iraq should be accorded very much credit.

What about the injustice that saddam did to all his people of iraq. He's getting what he deserves.

Some people would seek to justify what the allied forces (not just the US - don't forget that the UK and other countries were involved as well) did to 'close down' Iraq. I think that we have yet to hear the full catalogue of the precipitous actions that happened in the invasion of Iraq. Rumsfeld is already beginning to be discredited. How many more will go?
